Protection Against Mesothelioma by Avoiding Asbestos
Mesothelioma is a rare cancer that attacks the body’s mesothelial cells around the
Bodies. The mesothelium provides pleura, protection for the interior
Organs and allows moving organs (eg heart and lungs) Easy Glide
against adjacent structures. The names of the three regions of mesothelial cells, which
provide protection are: 1) pleura, the membrane surrounding the lungs, 2)
Peritoneum, the membrane that protects the abdominal cavity, and 3) pericardium, the
